"I particularly wanted to commend The 19th Lodge
(formerly The 19th Green)
B&B in Ballybunion to you and your colleagues --
it was like staying in a
brand-new luxury inn directly across the street from
the clubhouse (5-minute
walk -- I did it twice). The proprietors, Mary and James
Beasley, were
delightful and incredibly accommodating. I can't recommend
them enough."

01/06/04 "Great location, great
beds, great bathroom. Friendliest hosts, very accommodating
-- gave us a
ride when Peter had to take one of our party to Killarney
for an emergency flight out. Could not recommend it
more highly."

10/06/04 “The B&B’s we stayed at while holidaying
in Ireland were all good. The best one of the bunch,
however, was The 19th Lodge at Ballybunion. This B&B
is right across from the Cashen course and probably
an 8th of a mile from the club house entrance. Extremely
convenient. James and Mary Beasley could not have been
nicer. The accommodations were first class, large rooms,
palatial bathrooms with excellent showers and bathtub/jacuzzi,
a home well appointed in every respect. Breakfast was
excellent both mornings we were there, and it was a
fabulous experience staying at The 19th Lodge – best
accommodations of the trip.”

wanted to say thanks for all your hospitality during
our stay. Our holiday was absolutely fabulous and a
lot of it was down to the kindness and warm welcome
of our landladies\gentleman. We shall definately recommend
you to everyone.”

Brenda and I made it home to North Carolina fine and
I felt compelled to
send you a note to let you know how much we enjoyed
staying at The 19th
Lodge. We are members of The Old Head Golf Links and
therefore we have
traveled to Ireland for several years and without a
doubt The 19th Lodge is
our favorite place to stay in Ireland. The rooms are
beautiful with very
spacious baths and the best shower in Ireland. The breakfast
menu has many
great choices but my favorite would be the French Toast.
The quite
atmosphere always provides a good night rest and some
of the best links golf
in the world can be found right across the street. Your
accommodating
personality is delightful and I look forward to our
visit next year.

Thank you for the wonderful stay Cora and I had with
you on Monday evening
July 12th. The 19th Lodge is so beautiful and well appointed
it should be a
must place to stay if you are golfing at Ballybunion.
The rooms are the
largest and most comfortable I have stayed in on many
golfing trips to
Ireland and Scotland over the years. Because of the
closeness of the golf
course, The 19th Lodge is the most logical place to
stay on a golfing
vacation to Ballybunion. Everyone was so helpful and
gracious. I give you
five stars for service and the best place to stay in
Ballybunion.

It is not often that I feel compelled to write to a
hotel or B&B after a
stay; in fact, this may be a first. On our trip to Ireland
last month, we
stayed in several different establishments and all four
of us agreed that
The 19th Lodge was far and away the best of all. The
concern to detail and
hospitality that you and James showed us was more akin
to relatives or
friends than innkeepers. If I have the opportunity to
refer someone to you,
you can be sure that I will do so. And if we find ourselves
returning to
your area, we know where we will stay in Ballybunion.
Thanks again for
contributing to our wonderful memories of Ireland.

Mary, just a quick note to again say "thanks"
for hospitality during our
stay. We very much enjoyed our stay with you, and look
forward to coming
back to Ireland, and staying with you. We will recommend
you to all our
friends.

Just a note to tell you how very much
Anne and I enjoyed our stay with you. The 19th lodge
is a perfect setting - absolutely beautiful. I would
come back tomorrow if I could, but I can't. However,
I will aim for next spring. The acommodations, breakfast
and friendship were far more than expected. Best to
you and your wonderful family and to Pepper. We already
miss all of you.

James and Mary,
Thank you once again for your hospitality during our
recent stay at your lodge. You have a great location
next to Ballybunion and if I hear of other people going
over to Ireland for golf or a visit I will recommend
your Lodge to them.
Thanks again for the great breakfasts
we had during our stay.

Dear
Mr & Mrs Beasley,
I want to thank you so much for making me feel so welcome
at the 19th
Lodge during my stay a few weeks ago. It was a memorable
weekend for me,
and the wonderful hospitality you showed me made the
weekend even better.
The service quality was outstanding. I loved everything
about the 19th
Lodge.
Thank you again and I hope to return to the 19th Lodge
someday.
Hope all is well.
Sincerely,
Brendan Sage

How
is my favorite Irish proprietor? Although I can't commit
to anything yet for 2005, I want to let you know how
much we ( family and golfing buddies)enjoyed our stay
with you last month. No question about it , our stay
with you and James was the best in Ireland or Scotland.
I am praising your hospitality to all my golfing friends.
I know I'll return, but not sure when. If you should
come to Southern California, you let me know, You and
the family will always be welcome in my home. I only
hope that I could do half as well as you and James in
hosting you.

Dear Mary,
We wanted to express our sincere thanks for your hospitality
during our trip to Ireland this past September. It was
our first trip to your beautiful country and the highlight
of our trip was playing the Ballybunion Golf Course
and staying at your great lodge. The rooms were the
nicest of any we stayed in on our vacation. Your showers
are the best in Europe! And your hospitality was the
best of all. We expect to be back for the Ryder Cup
in 2006 and your lodge will definitely be on our itinerary.
In the meantime we tell all of our friends who travel
to Ireland that they have to visit The 19th Lodge in
Ballybunion.
We are looking forward to our next trip.
Yours truly,
Gary & Susan Bardell
